Oscar Shield Installation **Temp Page During Updates

Manual "Button Push" Mode is the Default Mode for a New Installation OR after Swapping the CR-2032 Style Battery. Swap the battery if you notice the LED becoming Dim

Commissioning After Installation:

1. Following installation and without changing between modes, start the engine for the first time with your OscarShield fitted.
The engine should start and run as the OscarShield initiates Security codes between the remote fob and relay. 
The engine should cut out and stop running after being started for 25 seconds - This confirms the installation is a success!

2. Start the engine for the 2nd time - Engine will cut out in 20 Seconds, 3rd time in 10 Seconds, 4th time OscarShield will lock down the car from starting.

3. You are all set. 
Personally I leave the remote on passive automatic activation and don't even think about it being there! 
Just make sure to turn on the ignition on for at least 1 second before cranking the engine, so the lock-down codes can be exchanged between the car and the remote fob.

Automatic OR Manual Starting Password - Setting up Remote control:

Immobiliser Control is in either in the Default Button Press Manual Mode OR 
can be set to Fully Automatic Mode 

1. Automatic Mode: The car starts normally when the remote
is present with you.

2. Manual Mode: Press the Remote Control button every time you Start
the car 

Checking in Auto OR Manual Mode: Press and hold the remote control button for 5
seconds. The LED flashes for 5 times in Automatic Mode. If The controller button goes out after 5 seconds and then the
LED lights up for 3 seconds, you are in Manual Mode

Confirming Auto OR Manual Mode: 
A. Press the Remote Control Button for 20 Seconds keeping the LED On = Manual Mode
B. Press the Remote Control Button when LED is On OR Off = Automatic Mode
